FC Bayern women celebrate 2024 with Paulaner at the Wiesn

As league leaders and new partner of the Paulaner brewery, the footballers cut a great figure in their dirndls

The women of FC Bayern Munich swap their jerseys for traditional dress in the second week of the Oktoberfest: Dressed in dirndls and in the best of moods, the current German champions celebrate with their coaching staff in the Paulaner Festzelt.

Not only the experienced Bayern players enjoy this excursion into a true Munich and Bavarian tradition. New signings such as Lena Oberdorf, Magou Dacouré, Ena Mahmutovic and Julia Zigotti also feel right at home and raise a glass of Paulaner Oktoberfest beer to the top of the Bundesliga table and the season.

Over snacks and beer, some of the players and the coach are introduced to Bavarian traditions such as Maßkrugstemmen and Bierfilzl flipping. Norwegian Tuva Hansen even sets a record for eternity with 28 beer mats.

Giulia Gwinn is also delighted with the visit to the Paulaner Festzelt: "It's one of the best team-building activities when you're together off the pitch."
